The Historic Hattie House

My fiancée and I’s stay at The Hattie House was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! We loved it so much that we ended up booking an extra night, we just weren’t ready to leave! The house is decorated so lovely and charming, with such beautiful attention to detail. Our room was especially stunning, I honestly wanted to go home and redecorate my entire bedroom to match it lol. It felt cozy, thoughtfully styled, and incredibly inviting. Everything we could possibly need was provided and then some. You can really tell Heaven and Abbey have put care into making sure guests are comfortable. Speaking of these wonderful ladies, they were easy and quick to communicate with which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully appointed, making it easy to relax the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly, attentive, and happy to offer local recommendations. The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We especially loved the little details that made the stay feel special, from the warm atmosphere to the thoughtful amenities. It felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable, and welcoming stay!

The Hattie House is a jewel!! It feels like a warm hug after a long day of shopping and exploring! It is within walking distance to great shopping, food and adventure on the Creeper trail. The staff is very welcoming and eager to accommodate any need. It is clean and relaxing. The artwork is beautiful and commissioned by local artists!

Absolutely gorgeous building in the heart of Abingdon. Highly recommend the stay here. We’ve stayed a lot of places in Abingdon, this is the best Place we have stayed. Atmosphere and location is perfect. Look forward to staying here every time we come to town. See ya soon.

Such a charming place to stay in a prime location in downtown Abingdon. Offset from the main drag so you don’t hear the hustle and bustle, but you are just a few steps away from anything you need! The rooms were beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could need to traveling with two kids (3 yo and 6 month old). The staff even provided a pack and play for the 6 month old and a box of toys/books for the kids to play with. The artwork is a reason to visit in itself. The artist is local to the area and her pieces are stunning. It took everything in us not to take a few home! Will definitely be back in the future!
