Alpine Motel

Nice older motel 1/4 mile off Interstate 81, and quite very little interstate noise. Basic amenities clean, and quite. If you want the Hilton book at the Hilton, but if you want a clean, quite, comfortable, room with great prices this might be worth a try. I would definitely stay again.

I’m not sure who has been leaving reviews for this place or if they pay for them, but this is absolutely not a 4+ start motel. It is disgusting. There are roach traps in the rooms, bugs crawling around, and brown streaked walls. It smells like smoke and our room was definitely not clean as evidenced by the gobs of hair found in the bed. The front desk was also incredibly rude at check in.

Very strange stay. After checkin we never saw anyone again other than the 2 other folks staying there. |No coffee maker in rooms. Owner said coffee was made in lobby each morning. It wasnt.|Had brochures for Pizza Land in lobby so we ordered dinner. Prices are $2-$4 MORE than prices in brochure! Good calzones but not worth $70 bill!!|Good points....was nice to sit outside our room and enjoy the view. Even had 2 does playing on the lawn!|And plenty of room for our dog to run. For $25/nite they allow dogs. So for that we were grateful.|Room was clean and was good for 1 nite but not sure if we wohldve stayed longer.

Positive: Location. Negative: Bed linens & pillows were extremely used, spotted and appeared dirty. Strange wiring from TV and over-head light. Missing control buttons on aged A/C unit. Bathroom plumbing (esp commode supply line crusted over with something green).

Great motel! Very clean, large rooms, wonderful host. Room has hard floors and all the basic amenities. Lovely view and so superior in every way to the chain motels. Not fancy, but if you want a classic clean and safe motel, it’s a clean and safe motel. I would stay there again. Highly recommend!
