Holiday Inn Express & Suites

So the reason for the low stars is they CHARGE FOR PARKING!!! I travel the country and ive never stayed at a holiday inn that charges $7 to use their parking lot. If it wasn't midnight when I arrived I would have just went elsewhere. The room was nice, walls seem thin though because you hear cars driving by and it sounds like they are right outside the window. Overall, even though its just $7, I will not return to this location due to being charged to park at a holiday inn. 👎

I came to town to visit my child for the weekend and Holiday Inn provided the perfect space for our visit. The bed was very comfortable and I am very picky when it comes to bed and pillows. Both were great! I love that they offer large bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We enjoyed their breakfast in the morning and the indoor pool. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Two reasons NOT to stay at this property:||1) They charge for parking. That’s a first for me at a small town hotel. I’ve never had to pay for parking at a Holiday Inn Express in a city let alone a small town. When I booked my stay at this hotel, nothing was said about this fee. I was only informed about it when it was too late to cancel. |2) The air conditioner is governed to a low of 68deg. Not usually a problem, but the bedding was hot & it caused me to sweat all night. ||Otherwise, it was a nice, clean property. But, with plenty of other hotel options in the area, due to the above, I’ll be staying elsewhere.

Nicely refreshed hotel with a good breakfast but still an overpriced, poorly constructed building on a major highway. We heard big rig horns and air brakes all night, along with doors closing in the hallway. When I asked the front desk about the room being quiet on the highway, she said we should put the TV on and we won't hear any of the noise. And to make the stay even more insulting, they charge an extra $7 fee per day to park next to the front road. PASS on this place. You have much better choices at nearby exits. We absolutely will never return to this Holiday Inn Express.

My hotel room and all other areas within the hotel were neat and clean, including the sheets and towels. The hotel decor was updated and modern, and the appliances and furniture all looked new. We needed a later checkout, and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was clean, tasty and had many options to choose from. IHG's website was user-friendly; booking, checking in, and checking out went smoothly and were easy. The negative is that this location (I'm not sure about other IHGs) charges paying guests for parking, $7.00. Not good.
