The Henry Collins Inn

We stayed only one night 10/18 for the Newport Pell Bridge Run 2025. Alexis greeted us upon our arrival. We were a few hours early so she had offered to text us when our room was ready and she did just that. Great location within a 7 minute walk into town to all the shops and restaurants. Just a 5 room Inn, very cozy, bathroom very clean as well as our room very clean. Alexis even had fresh baked pies for the morning hours along with our breakfast, coffee/tea and assorted juices. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Alexis!

When we arrived, Alexis was quite welcoming with a good overview of the house policies and off we went to see Newport RI. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was tasty. Free parking was a plus too in this town. WiFi worked well and since we had good weather, we found some time to unwind on the patio.

I'm finally back home and settled. And boy! I've been waiting to write this review. Located near the heart and middle of lovely Newport Rhode Island, The Henry Collins Inn is perfect placed within WALKING DISTANCE OF EVERYTHING. To get to the coastline, bars, food, literally 2-20 minute walk. Alexis, the host, was so generous and kind, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. She provided breakfast that was perfect to get the day started, as well as providing me with information about how to get around, what places to visit and the historical side of Newport as well! I stayed in the master bedroom and I'd say the price is definitely justified! I stayed solo, and the bed was a queen which could easily fit 2 or more people, with a couch as well for another guest if needed! The A/C worked well in the mid-heat of

Just like 10 minutes away from downtown, this lovely inn was a delight. I felt like I was staying at my grandma's house, but managed by a much younger person than her. The breakfast was homemade and so delicious I can't even put it in words. The bedrooms were very comfy and clean. I highly recommend this stay.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here - we were in town for the Newport Marathon and got two rooms at prices below most hotels that weekend. Fantastic homemade breakfast on weekends, including a variety of pies. Location was walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, including White Horse Tavern. Off-street parking was included. Alexis keeps a clean, comfortable B&B and is a wealth of knowledge for guests.
