The Firehouse - A Vacation Rental

We were at the Glendy last night, it was incredible and so much fun to be at. We came down for breakfast and had an amazing meal, but we noticed that the waitress’s weren’t being tipped for their service, we hope this changes and if the owner would offer free breakfast then he would also tip his staff accordingly

Beautiful property. Our family and friends rented the entire place (6 couples) and we all loved having a room and private en suite bathroom. The common area was perfect for us all to hang out together, cook meals, play games and enjoy each other's company. Walkable to restaurants, bars, shopping and more. Would 100% stay here again.

Absolutely amazing. Clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable, and extremely relaxing, right on the main drag but quiet and quaint. Breakfast was cooked each morning by Mrs. MARIA. a former Italian restaurant owner who grew up in Italy. $2.00 beers on tap in the common. Area, free morning coffee either made fresh or on the go with a kureg. The climate controls in the room were perfect. Marble bathrooms. My new favorite place.

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at the Firehouse Inn over the Christmas holidays. The innkeeper was very friendly and made a great french toast breakfast dish before we set off on our travels. Lovely rooms, extremely clean, very well decorated and perfect location if you want to explore the heart of Newport. Highly recommend

I don't know what else to say but, Wow! What a great time. My wife and I were looking for a night out with our kids having a sleepover with the grandparents. First of all, the innkeeper, Randy, could not have been nicer. This morning he made everyone biscuits and gravy with fresh fruit (no additional charge), it was out of this world. Our room had a very high end feeling like I was at a 5-star hotel. I can't say enough about this place. Next time I travel somewhere, I don't think I'll stay at a typical hotel, but instead look for another inn. Good luck being as nice as this one!
