The Ely House

Newly updated, very functional, spacious house in central Ely. This rental has what we look for when traveling – a great kitchen, comfortable beds, solid WiFi, large rooms, laundry, and a great bathroom. Natural stone floor on shower takes a little getting used to, but the shower stall is spacious and temperature/pressure great. In addition, there was a pleasant enclosed window porch, as well as an outside deck. Two bedrooms were good sized, both with closet space. Appliances all new (as of 2021) and high quality. The kitchen earns special recognition. It is large and well-lit, with a free standing central island for food prep. It comes well-appointed with cookware, sharp cooking knives, baking gear, and even plastic containers. We bought a week’s worth of groceries and nearby Zu
