The Country Inn at Camden Rockport

We stayed here on a Saturday night in November and loved everything about our stay! The hotel is really nice and has lots of nice touches throughout. It was decorated for Christmas with 2 beautiful trees and other decorations. There are several sitting areas throughout the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable! We had 2 queen beds that were warm and comfy with big fluffy pillows. There's a separate "living area" in the room which has a pullout sofa, coffee table and a table with chairs. There's a small balcony off the living area. There's a kitchen area with a sink, counter, microwave, mini fridge and glasses. Stayed here 2 nights, I got the feeling from the staff that they do not care or want to help at all the guests that have paid a lot of money to stay here, and you practically get nothing in return. A mediocre breakfast served with cardboard bowls and plastic cutlery! What’s that all about 🤷‍♀️ No coffee makers in the old fashioned, outdated decor rooms. My room a double bed room, had a tiny bathroom and the sink and mirror in the seating area outside of the bathroom. Not manned 24hrs, so come 9pm your on your own with a sign on reception saying only call this number in an emergency!! Why only in an emergency??!! Nowhere to get a hot drink! Lovely one night stay on a quiet Sunday night in December. Room 115 spacious with a gas fire place, near side door. Terrific hot breakfast, great hot tub, clean, comfortable bed, independently owned. Set back from the road. Would happily stay here again.

I recently spent one night at the Inn and could not have been more pleased! The room was clean, quiet and larger than I anticipated. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal! I will absolutely stay there again.
