Island View Inn

The room was exactly like the picture! Very close to Camden and Rockland. The in is located in a great central location if you are driving up the coast like we did. Staff were friendly, and the room was very clean. The room had a cozy feel to it. I would recommend this Inn to anyone! Definitely would stay again if we get back to Maine!!!

The Island View Inn is comfortably and beautifully decorated with kind and responsive staff. We loved sitting on the porch enjoying the bay and watching the sail boats. The pool was very pretty and welcoming with a view of the bay. The inn was immaculate and the towels soft. We put some drinks in the fridge and bought some snacks for the day and also bought some scones for the morning to have with the coffee we got in the lobby. My husband and I loved our time there and would like to return one day!

A wonderful place to stay! Our room was clean, charming, and had a beautiful view. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The yard, pool, and surrounding areas were picturesque and peaceful, and was conveniently located on a road with easy access to the rest of the community. It was our first visit but we will definitely be back!

My husband and I stumbled upon this sweet inn on our way to northern Maine and are so glad we found it. What a delight! Heidi, the front desk receptionist was so helpful and the room we had was just perfect! The room was decorated in an airy coastal vibe & everything was spotless. The king size bed was comfortable & we appreciated the spacious bathroom with a large walk in shower. The highlight was the attached private screened porch where we had an endless peaceful water view while we had our morning coffee. We highly recommend the Inn to travelers & would not hesitate to return. A++!!

The management of this establishment doesn’t believe in compassion We had booked two nights for a family wedding Sept 12th & 13th My father passed,was buried on Sept 12th so we couldn’t attend the wedding. Delta airlines gave me credit for the trip, Alamo car rental cancelled my reservation with no charge. Island View Inn charged me both nights. I feel that’s a terrible business decision. I’m sure it’s a lovely place to stay on the coast of Maine but I wouldn’t recommend it personally.
