Ledges By The Bay

Excellent place to stay! We had the superior king room, which had an amazing view of the bay. The room was super clean and very comfortable. The TV was easy to operate, with many channels. The bathroom was great, with a roomy shower and great lighting for makeup. It was very quiet and relaxing at the property, and close to everything we needed. The front desk was very friendly as well. We will definitely be back!

Positive: Very roomy. And the View! Check in was quick and easy as was checkout. Negative: It would have been nice to have a table in room.

Our two night stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, which is always my biggest concern. Check in was great along with any assistance we needed. While our room did not have a view to Penobscot Bay, we were able to enjoy the view while having breakfast. Breakfast was standard continental. Room was good affordable value. Will stay there again if we travel to the area. Area has several restaurants but many were closed for the season (we stayed over the Oct holiday weekend ).

The room was very clean and smelled good. The view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We traveled from Tennessee so it was a long drive but directions were good. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom was awesome and coffee. I would definitely return to this hotel if I ever visit Maine again.. happy customer.

This is our third time staying at Ledges over the years. The new owners have done a wonderful job upgrading the rooms and making the property even better than our previous stays. It is a perfect base camp for exploring the area and a wonderful retreat if you just want to stay put and absorb the view and seabreezes from the property itself. Breakfast is limited, but in a beautiful sunroom overlooking the bay. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
