Very nice hotel. It is a welcoming space and a wonderful location (close to town and to walking distance). Our room (the suite on the first floor) was very spacious and perfect for a family of three. The only downside is there is no staff on property, so the check-in/bag drop situation was not great. After we were able to get into our room, our stay was pleasant. It is nice that there is constantly tea, coffee, water, and snack mix available in the kitchen area.

Found this cozy inn steps away from town and loved it! Very quiet and clean. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in with blackout curtains on the windows. Would definitely recommend and will book again next time I make it to Nantucket!

Amazing location and amazing bedding! The sheets are very high end and comfortable. We went for stroll and property was so comfortable, even in the winter! Will definitely be returning!

Let's start with the pros. The location can't be beat. It's perfect, it's quiet, it's easy to walk downtown or get basically anywhere on the island. There is a little outdoor space in the front which is nice too. The rooms were well appointed and spacious. We stayed in room 1 which had a good size living room with a sleeper sofa, a bedroom, a bathroom with tub and separate shower. For the price, that's a pretty good deal on Nantucket. Cons: Room 1 at least smelled so bad and musty. The windows are locked, which is silly as the temps are dropping and you want that cool sea air inside. The smell was just inescapable and opening a window would go such a long way to fixing that. The bed is probably the softest bed ever and not in a good way, you sink in, it traps heat, and is wildly uncomfo

The Centerboard used to be locally owned, but I don’t think it is any more. You may occasionally see a cleaning person flit by, but otherwise the place is quiet and empty feeling. They do provide tea and coffee and a gravity bin of trail mix, but that’s it. Back in the day (20 years ago or more) they had a wine and cheese service in the afternoon and had light breakfast options for their guests. My main complaint is the bedding. It’s like sleeping in a giant diaper. The bed itself is comfortable enough but they have the worst possible mattress cover and sheets on the beds to the point that it feels like you’re sleeping in a plastic bag. The sheets come off the beds and everything is slipping all over the place. The location is great and the place is quiet for sleeping and has lovely decor.
