Carlisle House Inn

Beautiful historic inn with enough modern touches to make it feel so comfortable. We stayed in the Tom|Nevers room which had a great bathroom and large shower, excellent for my taller husband! The patio area is charming, there are beach chairs, beach bag and beach towels available to borrow for the day and the street is so quiet, you’d never know you were just a few minutes from the center of town!

My mom and I stayed at the Carlisle House Inn and it was nothing short of lovely. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for. One of our favorite touches was the complimentary s’mores night—complete with cozy blankets and a beautifully maintained fire pit out back. It created the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The rooms were pristine—immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail reflected the care the staff puts into maintaining the inn. The hospitality throughout our stay was outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and genuinely attentive. Breakfast each morning was just right—fresh, delicious, and served in a relaxed, inviting setting. The location was also ideal—less than a 10-minute walk from the center

This hotel/Inn is right in the heart of town. Everything is walkable. Janine, the owner and host does her best to accommodate all of your needs. ||The rooms have everything that you need. Refrigerator, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, even a sound machine.!||There is a cute little breakfast porch serving a lovely continental breakfast

Highly recommend!!! From beginning to end, my stay at the Carlisle House Inn was fabulous! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. They accommodate your schedule for housekeeping and embrace any special requests. The design of the Inn blew me away. Stunning!! Gorgeous details everywhere. Did I mention a great breakfast in a lovely dining area or back gardens? |Any situation works at this place, so relaxing with children or grand parents or solo like me!

The Carlisle House Inn is in the best location! Centrally located towards downtown, shopping, food, and near the Wave to get to any beach you’d like. Service was impeccable and every employee was so very kind! We loved our 3night stay here and are already planning a return trip!
