The Bell Inn

Just finished a fantastic stay at the Bell Inn which exceeded expectation. The hotel is clean, charming, and conveniently located. The staff was just excellent, particularly Noelle who made our stay exceptional. We ate at the Bell Tavern and the popovers are amazing and not to be missed. We were very comfortable in our suite with cozy surroundings and great amenities. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at The Bell Inn! The room and bathroom were spacious, everything was so clean and new and it was a quick Uber ride into Salem. It was also so convenient to also have a little restaurant attached. The brisket sandwich is delicious!

We stayed at The Bell Inn on our Salem trip. (I don’t recommend walking to Salem from The Bell.) it was clean, the towels were large and thick. The beds were comfortable and coffee and a fruit tray was provided each morning. The Inn is absolutely beautiful.

This hotel was in the perfect location for visiting Salem, Massachusetts. The service was outstanding, and my son and I really enjoyed our stay. I especially loved the little personal touches in the room, they were so thoughtful and made the space feel extra cozy. We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel, but they offered complimentary coffee and tea, which was a sweet detail. The only downside was the Wi-Fi—it was very spotty. My son and I had hoped to relax at night and watch movies, but we couldn’t get through them because the connection kept dropping. If you plan to work from the hotel, the internet might be an issue. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and I would still highly recommend this hotel!

Overall the Inn was a great place to stay. The rooms were tidy and the beds comfortable. The downside was we were not aware or notified that there was a wedding booked during our stay (Sun-Mon), so the cellar was closed for the event. The inn is also closed Mondays so there is no dining options available to the Inn residents Monday either. A staff member offered us 3 other restaurants nearby the we checked, but we quickly found all 3 are also closed on Mondays which led us driving back into town to grab a bite to eat. There isnt much to do within walking distance of the Inn, but it's a quick drive into Salem which is convenient.
