Extended Stay America Suites- Boston - Peabody

Had to stay here while my furnace was being replaced. The kitchen is bare except for fridge, microwave and 2 burners. No coffee maker or hairdryer. You have to request anything you need. I asked for coffee maker and was given coffee maker with no coffee. I had to go downstairs to get coffee. Breakfast consisted of a variety of oatmeal, and packaged small blueberry and chocolate chip muffins. There was also breakfast bars. There was coffee and and packets of hot chocolate with coffee mate. No milk, juice or fruit. The TV had no signal. I called the front desk with no answer. After 5 min the front desk called and told me there was no one to look at the tv until the next day. I finally discovered that the cable had been disconnected and I fixed the TV myself. The hotel was very run down. Our room smelled bad. There was a bag over the smoke detector on entry. So much money for a very bad experience. We would have left if there were other options.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything. The hotel was an old hotel, very dirty, we stayed 5 days because it was not refundable and no one came to clean the room. Very old furniture. Sticky floor. Only the fridge was ok

Set back in a nice area. WAY quieter than other motels in the area. I travel a lot, so I rent on occassion. Very nice and accommodating staff. My suite was immaculate. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. I will definitely be going back!

Do not be fooled by this place! It is a cheap bed to sleep in and nothing more. The free breakfast is a nutrigrain bar. Mattress is stained. Told the front desk out TV was broken and they said they'd make a note. Burn marks on just about every surface. The custodial staff was warm and friendly. The pictures and website said this place was one thing but it was entirely different
