We had a fantastic time visiting Salem, this motel is only about 10 minutes from Salem. And about half the price of staying in town. We stayed at this hotel with our two little ones, ages 1 and 3! I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and nicely decorated the rooms were. There was plenty of space for our pack 'n play, and our three-year-old loved having room to play around. The closet provided ample storage, and the large private bathroom with a tub was definitely a plus. when you have kids! The location is convenient, being close to everything, and having a private entrance and parking spot in front of the room made it easy to order food from DoorDash or Grubhub. My wife and I book this through a popular Booking Site, for a quick overnight stay on our way through the area.||The Property looked dated, but the Lobby looked decent. The person On Duty looked put out that he had to come to the counter. He was quick to point out that we booked a No Smoking Room and that we "No Smoke". I paid, to which there was a damage deposit (which was credited back the following day. After he handed me the Key Card, he stated "No Water Water" in his Middle or Southwest Asian Accent. I asked him "What?", to which he replied the same thing. ||We got to our room, to find it very small by modern standards. It had a fairly new looking headboard and side table arrangement, with wall mounted light fixtures.||The Power Cord and the Cables for the TV were freely hanging away

Let me start off by saying that I really hardly ever ever ever ever ever ever leave reviews unless it's a positive one. However after 40 Years of traveling Thomas every city I'm staying at the cheaper hotels, this is absolutely my worst experience. I always see reviews of you know people complaining about bed bugs and such, but in my 40 Years of travel and I have never experienced it I got half of those negative reviews were lies. But this week I had that bad experience. I did inform them after the first night of the bed bugs and they moved me to another room however for the following a couple of nights I have to deal with bed bugs again. I guess you get what you pay for lol... rooms aren't very clean, we had no hairdryer, or bodywash! The windows,mirrors and TV all had some gross streaky stuff all over them! The staff were not very friendly and didnt speak great English. I also wanted to add, that they charged us 2 fees when it was supposed to be one, when we called to find out why, they hung up on us. We then contacted hotels.com (which is where we booked) they tried contacting them as well, and they hung up on them as well. This place was absolutely a terrible experience! I do not recommend. We had the room for 3 nites (unfortunately) and on the second day, we went out for most of the day, when we returned to our room, all the stuff we had left was gone!
