The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk

I want to take this time and thank everyone who was involved before and after my surgery that helped take care of me. You all went way above my expectations of any hotel. From the rides to and from the hospital, being extremely careful driving me back to hotel and even having a wheelchair and shower chair ready for me when I got back. To the owner of the Barrymore I don't know if you know how extraordinary your staff is even the house keeping was amazing disinfecting our room so I came back to sanitatized room. Thank you John the driver for going out of his way to pick up my dinner. Thank you Michelle for taking us plases we have never been to before. We were greeted every morning by the housekeeping staff. I cannot say enough great things about the Barrymore, we WILL BE BACK,

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. On check in day we confirmed that everything was fine with the reservation. But when we got there we were told the place was overbooked. The manager wasnt even kind enough to come and apologize to us, they just stayed in their office, and let their employee do their job. They then proceeded to tell us to go to a different hotel "free of charge", which wasnt free of charge since they had already reserved this one. We tried to be positive and go to this other place, which was already another 20 minutes farther from where we need to be. But when we get there the place smelled of Marijuana, and the room smelled of mold. My daughter started to feel her chest get tight so we had to leave. Our family and friends had an amazing weekend at this hotel celebrating four birthdays and attending the Ybor City Cigar Festival. From the start, Salina, the sales manager, was outstanding—she coordinated our room bookings, ensured every detail was handled, and prepared the hotel for our lively group of Chicago partygoers. She even reserved space in the restaurant for us and provided excellent recommendations and personal introductions for local restaurants and cigar lounges, which many of us enjoyed. |Upon arrival, the staff greeted us warmly, and all 13 rooms were ready before noon—a huge plus! We loved the bar and restaurant; the team there deserves praise for their great service, delicious drinks, and fantastic food. The wings and deep-fried deviled eggs were crowd favorites!|Jehanne

Average hotel overpriced.Plain decor not finesse open wardrobe no doors.through wall AC noisy. $285 A NIGHT bed is comfy sheets are nice rooms a decent size but not worth $285 has a motel feel to it plain hallways plain painted rooms. Just lacks finesse. Breakfast was good$15. The girl that's servess breakfast was fantastic to do breakfast service by her self.Really nothing to write home about.Stayed the Flor last time rooms are lot nicer snd so much more finesse. Would not stay here again.

Rooms were nice despite the hallways and building feeling outdated overall. Very comfortable, great service, and right by the Riverwalk means easy access to other parts of downtown! Free shuttle is a huge plus as well (does not go to airport however). Ended up booking a second stay here after how well the first one went. Did not check out the restaurant downstairs.
