Gram’s Place Bed and Hostel

Words don't give my experience at Gram's Place justice! I've stayed in many hostels during my travels, and this one by far is number 1 on my list! Where to start......Immaculate, is how I describe the condition of common areas, bathrooms, rooms and the external space! And I know clean! My mother taught me well. No need for flip flops in the shower at Gram's Place!|The staff. There are three volunteers. They have become my extended family. I'm in the process of mourning. Lane has been working with me to help me get through the tough moments. There's sweet Jessica. She made Jr's favorite cookies this evening and we all get to enjoy her wonderful baking skills. Ben. If you love rock n roll, especially gram parsons (obviously) and FLYING BURRITO BROS then this place is the best. Also did i mention its the most affordable place in tampa?? Great people, always a good time. 5 stars always and I WILL BE BACK

I stay here twice a year sometimes more when working scheduled outages at a metal recycling plant nearby. It's cheap, clean, has a cool vibe and offers great amenities including two kitchens, a widows walk, and a jacuzzi. I'm always treated very well by the staff and find management to be incredibly flexible with allowing me to extend or shorten my stay based on the job I'm at. Highly, highly, highly recommend for leisure and working travelers.

I loved this place! The owner and staff members did a phenomenal job and were always willing to give a helping hand. The location is close to the city and was definitely a stop worth while.

I try to be fair on my reviews - for the price in the area, overall, this hostel is a good deal. Lady who checked me in was super attentive and helpful and gave all instructions. I liked the decoration even though it s a Little cluttered and not clean . Very old and deteriorated installations, no outlets to charge phones, holes in the fixtures and patches everywhere. Shower drips water, it took forever to have a decent shower They have a jacuzzi and an organized kitchen. Lots of sunscreen from previous guests if you need to use while you are there. For a short stay it’s perfectly fine. They have a security on site - the cat 🐱 - which is very cute
