The Attwater

Great boutique hotel! The room was stylish and clean and Peter was a great host. We truly enjoyed our chats with him! We were there for a Mom's getting away weekend. Parking was a breeze. The hotel is located in an area that is easy to access both the Cliff Walk and downtown areas!

The Attwater was the perfect place to be with a group of friends. The decor and rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the location is convenient while also being away from the crowds. The breakfast was delicious and the all day coffee and tea with cookies were a welcome treat. Peter at the front desk was friendly and helpful. A great highlight of the Attwater are the sitting areas located throughout the hotel. It was wonderful to gather with all our friends on the main floor or in the breakfast room. We will definitely plan to return to this lovely hotel.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at The Attwater. Peter delighted us with an unexpected, free upgrade to our room. It was spacious and wonderful, same as the hotel itself. Tasteful, modern decor and design, with a comfortable lounge area. The breakfast spread was quite good, with plenty of variety. Hot beverage service all day was also appreciated (coffee and tea). Wifi was solid. Peter also gave very good recommendations for things to do in Newport. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I got upgraded to a better room which was really comfortable. There's plenty of parking when taking into account that you can park in the museum parking in front as long as you have the parking pass from the front desk; with that in mind, the art museum is literally next to the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. . One thing to mention is the incredible staff as the concierge is very friendly and really cares about you having a great stay. Overall awesome experience.

What a lovely inn, with such helpful staff. We were upgraded to a larger suite (since we had paid for a Valentine's Day offer), and found it very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The location is close to lots of shops and cafes, but the parking is a little limited, especially since it seems Newport doesn't do much to clear snow from either sidewalks or streets. Since I'm disabled this made Newport a little less fun, but absolutely unrelated to the staff or space at the Attwater.
