The Aqua Pacific Hotel

Clean and good value hotel, but there were some issues. The major problem was that the bathroom door had the lock installed on the outside rather than the inside, so my young child locked me in the bathroom. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you have young children. If you are staying by yourself or with others who won’t lock you in the bathroom, then go for it. Other minor issues: 1) The metal bed frames were king size, but the mattresses were queen. This led to several shin and knee bruises. 2) |We tried to check out at 8:40am, but the office door was locked and had a sign that said the office opened at 8am. So we packed the car, and then I went back to the office, and it was still locked even though it was nearly an hour past 8am. I rang the night bell, and a guy came out.

The INDOOR pool refers to a pool that is "technically" indoors, but open air. So don't even think about trying to use it in the winter, like we did. The hot tub was totally useable though! The pool issue asside, everything was great! The place was nice and aesthetic, the room was clean, the shower pressure was good, no bed bugs or anything. TV was modern. AMAZING price and in a great location in Santa Cruz. Would definitely use again.

I would kicked out of there after spending lots of money they accused me of smoking marijuana in my room. They accused My friend of stealing sheets when I brought my own for my dog and he also said that I left one in the room a big mess which is a complete lie to I cleaned everything from the floor to the refrigerator. I think they don’t like American women cause shortly after that They kicked out a friend of mine and her son to the streets and it’s not the owner It’s the managers so be careful. Lots of homeless around there too. It could be a nice place but they need new management. oh, and the reason I know they don’t like women or American women I kept asking for a weekly discount nobody would give it to me, but they gave it to two guy friends of mine so that just proves it .

Positive: I liked that it was so close to the boardwalk and I also liked the coffee machine Negative: the hotel room was dirty there was hair all over the floor there was no shampoo conditioner or body soap available they were empty and I did not like that the swimming pool was not in Access because there were a bunch of kids with no adults

Bed is comfy, location great. Modern updates but details show they paid for very cheap labor. Floors were sticky and air conditioner didn't work. Our room could hear street traffic and other people staying here talk ing outside. For the cost, more than we expected.
