Texas Inn

On our recent stay, my daughter mentioned that the room smelled like fresh laundry and that made her feel comfortable about her bed. Check in was easy, everything was clean. Our room had laminate floors, which feels cleaner. Plenty of towels and soap, and a couple of single use packets of shampoo were in the very spacious bathroom. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Keep in mind this hotel is right on the freeway, so you will hear trucks going by in the night. It is not a sketchy location, but still right on the highway. Very convenient, but not as secure feeling.||For a budget price this hotel was a great find!

I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel. Everything seems quite run-down and is in urgent need of renovation. The room was clean, but the furnishings were outdated. The entire hotel gave an unkempt impression.

For the age of the building it was a 5 in this economy .What was good ,the price, location, cleanliness , inside and outside and customer service it was a 5 again for the age of the building. I gave a 4 because the ice machine had not been cleaned on the outside so I'm thinking the filters are dirty on the inside... Small Scuff marks from suit cases are everyday wear and tear. no mold no bugs.every thing in the room works. Even ice cold soda at a cheap price at the desk .

Not bad for its price. Receptionist was very nice and friendly. Had the king size room. The room was a good size. The bed indeed was a king size was not too bad as far as comfort. The pillows were a bit too soft for me since I’m a side sleeper and woke up with shoulder & neck sore. There was some sort of white stain/dirt on the head board(see photo). Room & shower were clean. Definitely a good place for its price. Cons- 1-A little noise due to be so close to the highway. 2-The room door would not unless you lift the door by its handle and then I was able to lock it. 3-Bed sheet had yellow stains on one side of the bed (slept on the clean side) 4-Shower head not properly sealed and sink was cracked and chipped (see photos).
