La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Waxahachie

The bed was comfy, but pull out bed had crumbs all over it.. Bathroom was nice except caulk on bathtub needs go be redone, it's all brown and crusty. I would've given 4 stars, but we woke up this morning with a roach crawling on my baby's pants. Big health and safety concerns, but we were heading out the door about to check out anyway so not much we can do to switch hotels at that point. Gross.

Positive: Friendly staff, nice breakfast (just very hot in dining area) Negative: The bathtub was extremely rusted, the bathroom had a sewer odor. Seen a couple of cockroaches (should spray more often)

Not too bad. Nice to find a hotel with a bath tub still. But it's definitely not comfortable to lay back and relax in. Beds were comfy, slept great. Hotel in general could use some updating but decent overall. I would stay again.

We did not stay. I selected 3 different rooms, to give the Hotel a chance but it didn’t work out. The tub was rusted and both beds made loud noise when sat on them. The chair in the room was very damaged and had stains on it. There was dust on the lamps and furniture. The other furniture was damaged and very dated. It was overall dissatisfactory. I had to pick another hotel at 8:00 at night. I was not happy.

Stayed 12-1-25 and had 2 private suite rooms. Right around $85+ taxes. Clean. Quiet and no bugs. Spacious. The real quality of the hotel is Chelsea! Her attitude, personality and willingness to help brings this chain up a few points. She was the best! Good to see a smile. The rooms itself were spacious. Pillows were comfy. Mattress was firm. AC worked well.
