Taste Of Heaven Campground

Beautiful place and people. So peaceful. It lives up to its name. Owners are some of the best people i have ever met. We will be back again and again.

This camp grounds is a great place for tent camping. We spent a wonderful weekend camping by the lake. Even with super cold, rainy weather, the beautiful view and clean facilities helped us really enjoy our time. We were able to take a break from the cold temps in the heated bath house. There are trails around there camp grounds to explore nature. The gazebo by the lake would be a great place for a wedding and there is a larger building for indoor events. We loved getting to see the peacock and pig on the way to the bath house. I hear there is also discounts for scout troops as well.

This place stands up to its name. The owners are the sweetest people and so accommodating they are what true Christians are meant to be! This place is filled with the holy spirt. They have church and even baptisms. If you dont go you are missing out !

We arrived late and were welcomed by a really warm and peaceful community. The owners were keen to share with us the history of their family and of the local community, how they try to contribute as much as they can. The campground itself is beautiful and calm, by a small lake in the forest, the shower rooms were clean and great, available couple miles away are numerous little quality restaurants and shops. The name of the campground really reflects well the feeling we had there, a real blessing on the road, a real taste of heaven. We stayed here for 3 months while visiting our daughter for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We have had a wonderful experience at this campground. The owner, Francis, along with her family and several other full time campers made feel very welcomed. It's relaxing and quiet. We loved the view of the lake and the goats and donkeys they have on property. The prices were very reasonable. The bathhouse was always clean. They also have church service on Sundays, for those interested, we went elsewhere since our daughter and family have their own home church in town. Next time we come to visit family, we definitely will be back here to stay. Thanks for making our time here enjoyable.
