Hampton Inn Dunn

As a Gold member, I was very disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, the interaction at the front desk set the tone for the entire stay. The front desk employee, Betsy Morales, was not very empathetic or welcoming. Her demeanor came across as dismissive, and the overall interaction felt distasteful. I was informed about the hotel’s policy that anyone with an address within 50 miles is considered a local and must pay a $250 deposit plus an additional $25 per night for incidentals. Even after I explained that I was in town for work, there was no flexibility or attempt to better understand my situation. Wow, if I could give this hotel more stars I would! 10 out of 10 here. I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dunn, NC for 2 nights (I just checked out Tuesday morning) as I was attending a workshop in the next town over. But I felt that this hotel deserves a review and to help others searching for a hotel in this area. I want to start off by saying this has got to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The parking lot appeared very safe, that’s important to me while traveling alone as a female. From the second I walked in I was greeted by a smiling face (yes, a smiling face, something you don’t see anymore); her name is Angelina, she was amazing, very friendly and got me checked in quickly. My room was spotless and the beds (2 queens) were super comfortable too! I slept better in this hot

I just want to say that Jonathan Sanchez has been absolutely phenomenal! He is a great asset to this establishment. I wish all the front desk employees were as caring and welcoming as he is. I highly recommend people to come to this hotel and meet him. I DID have an issue with Ashley, at the front desk however. My blood sugar was dropping and i asked her to please get me some milk and she was extremely rude and focused more on her phone than helping the guests. With that being said, the rest of the staff were very accommodating. Have a blessed day everyone. And once again I want to say a big THANK YOU to Jonathan for going above and beyond to help me.

Positive: Breakfast was good. Negative: Check in took over 30 min wait, computers were down.

We got there late we got in. We showered and slept. We had breakfast in the morning. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing as usual. We make it our business to only stay at Hampton inns when we travel.
