Red Roof Inn Dunn

Very dated building with a recent remodel. New bed, furniture and fixtures. A bit cheap but new. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable. The shower was better than expected even though the shower head was loose and there was plenty of cracks in the grout and lots of rust in the bath tub. $69 for a quick stop off the highway was great. Plenty of restaurants and gas stations in the area.

I enjoyed my stay. It was clean and comfortable. It seems like they just remodeled it. I will be back again. Oh staff is amazing.

Positive: The bed was comfortable Negative: In room 118 the light at the bed did not work- the hotel did not seem safe- the room had an odor- the bathroom tub was dingy- there was no coffee pot

The motel was clean and the staff was friendly. The surrounding area is what you would expect at an interstate exit. This isn’t a resort property and doesn’t try to be. The biggest issue was, “ what to do with your hanging clothes”. There isn’t anywhere to hang your coat or clothing for the night. We laid our clothes over the office chair and woke up with them wrinkled on the floor. It wouldn’t have been a problem if there would have been an iron and ironing board in the room. These aren’t expensive things, hangers and irons. They are CapEx items. All in all, I will recommend without these experience enhancing items.

The room was dirty and there were tiny pieces of broken glass on the floor. We walked barefoot being afraid of stepping onto something. I was worrying about our dog also. The room smelled like cigarettes for being non-smoking. Walls were dirty. The staff was nice and the location was convenient.
