Tampa Inn Near Busch Gardens

Most ppl complain but don't realize this is an older hotel. I love the staff as they've always been friendly & very helpful. Never had any issues in my rooms. Property is clean with a functional pool. It's close to all the restaurants & Busch Gardens & Adventure Island Yuengling Center, etc. Rooms are clean. Even the smoking rooms & Pets are allowed which is a plus for families in need not wanting to rehome their beloved pets such as myself when I had my dog.

Positive: "" Negative: It's in the middle of the hood and is advertised as being close to the Tampa airport. It's not even close. I'd like some sort of refund. I couldn't even sit on the toilet and the lock was broken off the door. Horrible experience

My last night of vacation turned into a nightmare! Scanned through Expedia and picked a hotel that was close to the airport, as I had an early morning flight. The stairwell smelt strongly of urine and the rooms we walked by had a strong odor of marijuana. The room was absolutely disgusting! The air coming from the air-conditioner smelled of mold and mildew—there was layers of dirty dust in and around the air conditioner—-heck the whole entire room. Pulled back the covers on the bed to see dingy yellow stained sheets (so gross) Next checked the bathroom out dirty, filthy, disgusting—the towels were dingy yellow and when I pulled the shower curtain back a cockroach landed on my arm! I screamed!!! Called the front desk and the maintenance person came and flushed it down the toilet and then of

My stay wasn’t as bad as these reviews make it seem. Room was clean, no bugs, and nothing was out of the ordinary. They were even nice enough to allow a late checkout.

They got a maintenance man that think he can police and harass people and guests while they are staying at the hotel. No communication skills , very rude with bad attitude. Really should find a more people person type for interactions with guests.
