Surf City Inn & Suites

This is by far one of the worst Hotels I have ever stayed in. The Wifi is absolute dog water. We were locked out of our room after the first day when we had the room booked for two nights. Its literally like they just did the absolute bare minimum of everything to be qualified as a hotel. I would not recommend staying here. A cardboard box on the street would be a better option.

Newly renovated rooms, very clean, I love the room set up- One king and another queen bed in a seperate room with Tv's in both! Made for a great stay. The young man that checked us in was so friendly and accomadating for our four rooms we booked. Loved how close it was to the boardwalk and was able to park there and walk! Definitely will be booking for our next family get away!

Positive: The proximity it was to the boardwalk. Negative: The room was disgusting. Stains everywhere and on everything. Old food stuck to the curtains. Broken fixtures on furniture. No hot water in the sink. The room was not worth the price at all.

We checked in at 11:30 PM for a 8 night stay. We had to use a Ring photo doorknob and kiosk to check in. Okay, whatever. We were given a room that was filthy (see photos) and had to go ask for another room. We weren’t given the new room until I said I took pictures and showed them to the guy on screen. So we get to the new room and there is a cockroach on the wall. 🤢 By now it’s midnight and I’m exhausted so we just slept with the lights on. My daughter lives in town so the next night we slept at her house and when we went back to the hotel in the morning we were locked out of the room. I bought roach traps and set them up in the room. Overall the room was dirty, the floor hadn’t been swept before we moved in, the towels were stained and the walls had holes. We slept in the hotel 3

I was really happy the first time I stayed here that I actually liked the place and it wasn’t bad. Because it’s actually affordable most of the year unlike most of this town. But over the past 2 years I’ve stayed here a LOT. Sadly, every time I stayed my rating went down to now which is I won’t stay here any more. The staff are friendly enough, nothing special. The pool and hot tub are inside a small building in the parking lot. I’ve never used either but people do all the time. If you’re checking in after 10pm there’s a small kiosk just outside the office window where you check in with someone on the screen who’s probably in another country. You can pay there too if you are using cash which is cool. They do charge $100 for incidental deposit and if you check out early enough you will get
