SureStay Plus By Best Western Spartanburg Southwest

Booking this hotel was the worst experience ever. I booked this room due to being in town for a house warming. I thought when booking this was Best Western. The front desk stay was friendly but had trouble taking my correct information. I literally gave her my phone number and email approx 12x. The moment she swiped my card she informed me the elevator was broke and I would have to climb stairs. This should’ve been communicated prior to taking the funds so I could’ve made the decision to stay and climb stairs or find another hotel that accommodates. Next, one I walked into the 1st room is was visible stain all over the bedding. I immediately returned to the front desk requesting a refund. Stayed 4/30 checked out 5/1. They were very short staffed. The counter person doing housekeeping and running the front. The sleeping part was clean. The bathroom however looked as if it never seen any cleaner at all. The mold was all around the shower. The light in the shower was falling out of the ceiling. The toilet was very loose on the floor. The hairdryer did not work. I realize it is a budget hotel but they have a no refund policy and require a $100 deposit on top of the charges. Will never be staying here again.

There was 2 huge water bugs in my room running around as soon as I opened the room door the pillows were tiny like couch pillows so they switched me to a room that was supposed to be 2 queens got in the room and it was 2 twin looking beds so I just took my chances with the roach room the beds were very uncomfortable they didn’t come to clean or replace the towels I called the front desk 35 times and she claimed that she didn’t hear it until I called her while she was standing in front of me and it started ringing and all of a sudden she heard it then. She proceeded to say if I rated her 5 stars she would take 10 dollars off it was very dirty 2 of the lamps didn’t work stains on the towels. Would not recommend to anybody!

i have never been more disappointed and disgusted in my whole life. first of all, i get there and have to wait 15+ min because the girl at the front desk was in the back sitting down on her phone. like seriously. i was there at 2:46 for my 3pm check in because our drive was short than expected and she says she wants to charge us almost $30 for a check in early fee… ITS ONLY 14 MINS SERIOUSLY. we get to our room and it’s red flags everywhere. the furniture wasn’t properly cleaned. absolutely disgusting and dusty everywhere. the bed sheet had a stain in it. the towels were dirty. like black stains on it dirty. the shower was dirty and even the toilet was stained and hadn’t been flushed. and we tried calling for help and nobody answered. that is absolutely disgusting and filthy and for nobody

Stayed from 5-18-22 to 5-22-22. Never seen a housekeeper during the time I stayed there. Also there was never no one at the front desk to complain to. I washed towels so i could have a clean on. I tried several times to find someone at the front desk to get clean towels and to get the on small trash can emptied. Its posted in the room that breakfast is available to 10am. I went down at 8:45am and it was all cleaned up. Asked the person cleaning up about the time she stated that its not to 10am it's to 9am. When I said it was 8:45am had 15mins she just walked off. DO NOT STAY HERE. I WILL NEVER AGAIN.
