Four Points by Sheraton Spartanburg

High-quality hotel hidden in a nondescript location - I assume it's mostly utilized for business travelers but its location is central enough to Spartanburg/Greenville that it would be useful too for vacationers looking to roam. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are large and pool is warm and inviting. Decor is fantastic and bar is inviting. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but are looking forward to giving it a try next visit!

We stayed here while in town for the Wofford vs. Furman rivalry game and loved it! The hotel is beautiful, close to Wofford, and mostly updated. Our rooms were newly renovated, spacious, and so comfortable. The beds and pillows were amazing! Some of our family didn’t get updated rooms, so definitely ask for one when booking. The real highlight of our stay was Leeann at the front desk. The morning after a large group had left the lobby a complete mess, she went above and beyond, cleaning and sweeping the area herself so we could sit, drink coffee, and visit with family. That kind of kindness and service is rare! She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Her coworker could certainly take notes from her cheerful attitude! The nighttime frontdeskman with the clear glasses was very informational. Gift was truly a gift. But the lady at the front desk for checkout was not friendly. I thought she would have asked how was my stay but she took my key and said nothing. I didn't even get the chance to tell her that the two days I was there, the remote did not work for the TV so we never got to watch TV. But the hotel is beautiful and located right off the business hwy. Very nice hotel.

My parents’ and brother’s adjoining rooms had not yet been updated and had a strong, unpleasant smell, almost like someone had tried to cover up cigarette odor, leaving behind a musty, mold-like scent. Positive: Excellent layout and design - smart repurposing of a commercial space. Room was clean and spacious. Negative: No laundry room for guests. Furniture in the room was conspicuously inexpensive (a table instead of an actual desk, limited seating).
