SureStay by Best Western Irving Grapevine DFW North

American Airlines put us up at the SureStay DFW since our flight from Detroit to Dallas was delayed and we missed our connection to Tucson. The agent at DTW (Detroit) was great and booked us before we left because it was clear before takeoff that we wouldn’t make the connection. She knew DFW and wanted to get us in a particular hotel but that one was already booked. We needed her help as my husband and I were in two separate tickets and we didn’t want to confuse the hotel. That hotel had a 24/7 shuttle to DFW which is critical at that huge airport.||On arrival at DFW we finally found the courtesy van pickup spot. But it was unclear what shuttle we should take. Though one shuttle came and had SureStay on it, that driver refused to take us. I called the hotel twice and there was no answer. W

Room was decent for a low rated hotel, clean and beds were nice. Staff is unreliable and they attempted to charge us again even though we paid in advance, saying they were “all booked”. They were not very helpful at all. We asked for two extra towels, they gave us one and two washcloths and when we asked for another towel they gave us a small pool towel. Otherwise the stay was fine, its in a pretty good area if you are looking for things to do in dallas/grapevine area

Positive: The room was clean and the housekeeping was excellent Negative: The Saturday front desk clerk was extremely rude. I booked an additional week was not allowed to check in even though I prepaid. She caused me to pay a $58 cancellation fee for her incompetence!

We used the hotel to keep our car for a few days while we were out of town, since we live far from DFW. They offer 24/7 shuttle service which is awesome; however, it was a nightmare. It a bit of a read but worth it. I REALLY hope the hotel staff and owners see this review. I’m sure they won’t do anything about it cuz they obviously don’t care. But I hope this helps others when they consider them for a hotel or parking service. I gave them the benefit of the doubt once and now… never again. Incident #1 I called BEFORE (3.5 hours) we got on our flight back home. They said “call us back when you land”. I called right when we landed in DFW. They answered and said “go to the D1 or D40 area and then call us back again and we’ll give you more instructions”. I’m not sure why they couldn’t just

We spent our last day in Dallas and wanted to stay close to the airport. I have to disagree with many of the negative reviews! For 1–2 nights, this hotel is perfect! Unfortunately, it was too cold to use the pool, but the free airport shuttle (both ways) and breakfast were a huge plus. The breakfast isn’t fancy but more than enough — yogurt, cereals, coffee, orange juice, and toast. Our room was clean, with an average but comfortable bed and a bathtub equipped with clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Unfortunately, there was no toothpaste, but there was a hairdryer. The TV had lots of channels, and there was also a fridge and a microwave in the room. :) Anyone complaining about the noise from the highway or airport probably booked the wrong place — what makes this hotel conveni
