🚫 This hotel was not just unprofessional—it was threatening, discriminatory, and unsafe. I booked this hotel through Booking.com for my husband, who was driving from Toronto and needed a place to stay overnight. My card details were already on file, but when my husband arrived, the receptionist claimed there were no rooms and then called someone for instructions. The man on the phone was extremely rude. Instead of addressing my husband’s questions about why a second card was needed, he told him: “If you don’t have money, just go somewhere else.” When I spoke with the man myself in Hindi, he said my husband was “asking too many questions” and that there was a “limit” to what a guest can ask. Standard motel. Our GPS kept trying to direct us to the road behind the motel. Main road access was easy to use though the sign doesn't stand out. The room was clean and had a working fan which was nice as the room for not have AC.

Outside of the smell that comes from these rooms because they're not climate controlled when not in use, the overall experience was not good. The beds were in desperate need of being replaced. The sheets barely fit and because they are not fitted sheets, they came off pretty easily. The goal of this booking was to get off the cold wet ground while camping North of Sault Ste Marie and get a decent rest before returning to Southern Ontario.
