Super 8 by Wyndham Wausau

Seriously, no complaints. The rules are simple, no beverages in the pool. Prices are affordable. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but hey, it’s free. Freshly made waffles were a hit with the kids, and the staff kept bringing out food continuously when items were running low. Overall, a great experience at this place.

Beds are hard, didn't sleep well. Pool and hot tub need to be cleaned. If you don't like hard rock beds, I would look elsewhere.

After a long day at granite peak we get to our room not the best room but it’s one night it will do. I wake up to a bug on my pillow where my face was. Brought it up to the front desk showed them the picture just to be told they have people who come in every so often and check but he will put a report in. No refund they just brush it off I then contact them in an email to be told there’s “no activity” in the room but I showed them a clear picture of the bug. I felt absolutely disgusted and have to argue back to try and get a refund. On top of that we didn’t even go to the hot tub because it was 110, around the bathtub looked liked it needed to be cleaned, booked queen room got a full. I can let little things go like that but waking up to a bug in my face I can’t let go.

Rooms were clean. My room had a strong odor which is why im giving 3 stars. All else was excellent. Very clean and i appreciate that a lot.

I really liked our stay! I needed a close location to the hospital while I recovered from my surgery and this checked all the boxes.The room was clean and the hotel was nice and quiet. Breakfast was fine, the pool is nice. I was skeptical about the small gap under the door because I was afraid it would hinder my privacy but actually, the rooms are VERY soundproof and the only inconvenience was the little bit of light it let in from the hallway. Front desk was polite and helpful, I forgot my brush and they gave me a complimentary comb. Absolutely love the shampoo, soap, and conditioner they provide. The shower was nice and hot and had excellent pressure. Could use a little bit of fixing up here and there, but I am overall satisfied and will definitely stay here again for my next surgery!
