Best Western Plus Wausau Tower Inn

Being a Delta Platinum member, I expect the best quality hotels and the Best Western Plus hotel is no exception. Hand cooked eggs, burritos, healthy yogurt with so many toppings, clean nice, rooms, unique hotel architecture, hand painted murals, and nice bed. Love it. Parking lot is ADA friendly which helped my husband and his wheelchair. We had a drink at the bar that is by the lobby the night before and left after breakfast. BW I am coming back this summer !

I stayed here for a week over thanksgiving on a work trip and the staff here treated me as their own family. They invited me to their thanksgiving potluck so I wouldn’t have to spend it alone and that was a memory I will carry with me forever. They truly made this stay so memorable and special. I got a hello and a goodbye every time I came or left and the housekeeping always kept the room spotless and stocked up! I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area

This hotel feels very old and not well maintained. The room was not clean — the carpet was very dirty and the bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The hotel is not updated at all, which was disappointing. There was also confusion about pet policies. It was not mentioned anywhere that king rooms are supposedly not pet-friendly, even though I paid extra specifically for a king room. After insisting and after the front desk spoke with the manager, I was finally given the room I booked, but it shouldn’t have required that effort. There was no hairdryer in the room, which is a basic amenity. Breakfast was fine — nothing special — but the coffee was actually good, and the staff at breakfast were older but friendly. Overall, this hotel needs serious updates and better cleaning standards

Positive: Beautiful place and close to my doctor office!! Loved the restaurant and super nice ppl running it!! Loved our suite!! Negative: There wasn’t one thing we didn’t love!!

Honestly don't know what the other reviews are talking about but my stay was amazing the food was great better then other hotels for sure and the bar atmosphere was definitely nice
