Super 8 by Wyndham Wall

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, and they even offered free cookies and popcorn. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was decent, but the mattress was old and overly bouncy, which gave me a backache. Breakfast options were quite limited — no bread, just waffles.

Decent hotel for the price paid. Very friendly staff at check in. Clean room. |Weak on the breakfast and no staff on hand in the morning. Gave us some coupons for local establishments, but they weren’t honored for the free drinks so I question if those places would have honored the coupons for breakfast. We would have also had to go to another location, get seated, leave a tip, etc. But we stayed for the convenience, location, and cost and those expectations were met

Positive: Staff were very nice, bed was very comfortable, room was clean enough and nicely redecorated. They were generous with the coupons for local restaurants even though we didn't get a chance to use them. Great location to visit the Badlands. Negative: Bathroom exhaust fan very loud. Lobby had Fox News constantly, which is a far-right station with divisive, hostile content and misinformation. Studies show Fox viewers have worse knowledge than people who watch no news. Makes me not want to go back.

This was a great stay! Everything was clean, the people are kind and helpful, and it was right off the highway in a space that has few other accommodations. Driving through the Badlands National Park was a breeze because it was so close. Highly recommend this hotel for any stay needs.

The whole hotel was a dump. Carpets are stained and dirty. The walls in the room were so marked up with dirt I didn’t know what color the paint was. The bathroom is very small, and the door barely shuts. Positive note breakfast had a lot of choices.
