Badlands Frontier Cabins

These cabins are so cute. Well made. Fully stocked with amenities. Beds are very high but very comfortable. Staff at check in was nice. ||I see someone else commented the carpets were dirty. That would be my only feedback for them. It wasn’t terrible but they should be cleaned.||Easy access to the Badlands. Off a main road, so some road noise. Close to the town.

Wow I don’t know where to start. So first off wow beautiful room, very spotlessly clean and smelled amazing. The bed was perfectly wonderful nice and soft great amount of pillows and finally a place that gives you more than just 2 towels and wash clothes. The bonus was the absolute amazing water softener wow was I ever happy. Now I will say it was very quiet which I love but it is the end of season so the place wasn’t packed.

The cabin itself was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The decor was really nice. The reason for a score of 3 was we had 2 nights booked but needed to cancel one night (we called more than 36 hours in advance). Laura was very rude on the phone and not willing to work with us. Most hotels have a cancellation fee but this place charged us the full amount. I could understand if th place was fully booked. Sorry to say we won’t return.

Great experience, would recommend! Family of 6, 2 adults, 4 children ages 1-12. We stayed in a family suite with two beds and a pullout couch. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was large. Kitchen and dining area was great to have. We stayed one night while we were passing through visiting the badlands. Great proximity to badlands, wall drug and the freeway. Very clean and sizable rooms. Staff was incredibly friendly. Great playground for the kids. We were only there from about 8p-9a. Would stay again!

Positive: Very easy to get to and the cabins are cute from the outside. Negative: The floors were dirty, dog or human hair on the decorative blankets/pillows, dirty kleenex under the bed. Overall filthy considering it was over $--/night and the cleaning products they use smell awful.
