Best Western Plains Motel

Room was a little dated but very clean and spacious. We got the 3 queen family suite which was sooo nice for our family of 5. The kids had their own room which was nice. The pool area had lots of natural light and the pool was warm. Breakfast was what you expect of a free hotel breakfast. Kids love the pancake machine. The kids also loved the popcorn in the lobby- a nice touch. Walk to a few restaurants and wall drug.

Positive: Proximity to the park. Easy access to the interstate. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Negative: Small bathroom. Room needs updating, very dark and lots of brown.

Best Western Plains Motel is a MUST STAY place. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The motel had the feel of a family operation which we learned through a letter in the room that it is just that. Everyone there was friendly helpful and seemed to really enjoy their work. The location is convenient to everything you want to do in the area and we were able to walk to dinner and the famous Wall Drug. The free morning breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. If you want the feel of a vintage motel with the comfort and service of a much larger hotel, the Best Western Plains Motel is the place to stay.

It’s an older hotel but the staff were so friendly, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after driving 600 miles. The shower was better than my own! Breakfast was amazing. Jelly doughnuts? Yes please. And the scrambled eggs were real eggs. The best Best Western I’ve ever stayed at.

We stayed for a couple of nights on a road trip. The location in the center of Wall was ideally placed for exploring the nearby National Parks and sites. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The suite was immaculately clean and tidy. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. A great stay for excellent value. Highly recommended!
