Super 8 by Wyndham Valdosta GA I-75

Great staff that welcomed me as I arrived. They made me check the room before checking in which was great. The room itself was very clean and had everything I'd expect. The location is perfect as it is right off exit 16 with tons of breakfast and diner places right nearby. If that isn't your thing there is a Walmart on a few minutes distance. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and would go back if I was in the area again. It's a great value for money.

Positive: The beds were ok and clean Negative: No one there cares about the guests. Seems to be corporate owned. The toilet tank was overflowing wasting a lot of water but it didnt flush because the flushing lever broke into pieces from being completely rusted

Very Easy and very friendly check in. TV plug loose but when offered another room we saw the loose power plug and fixed it. Fire alarm went off and my husband was able to assist in resetting it. Had dinner delivered quickly and near many eateries very close. Indoor hallway entry means quieter areas. Bathroom super tiny. Heat/fan worked fine. Rather clean and tile floors good with pets. Bed slightly sunken in middle but not awful. Quiet overnight. No coffee or tea in room. Not much of anything for grab and go breakfast especially for diabetics. No fresh fruit or waffle maker. Overall I'd choose again next trip to FL from north. Used my rewards points first time and no issues. Good ideas for food ordering from kind front desk clerk. See you next trip!

Lesson learned on this booking. We need a quick one night stay on a business trip to Orlando. I booked a second floor King room. After driving 3 1/2 hours once i arrived I was informed they did not have my King room available. I could have a double bed room. I was not happy about this arrangement. I asked if there was a price adjustment. I am paying for a king bed and now being given a bed not larger than a twin. The lady told me no I could take the room or not. I did book this through Booking.com 1st mistake for sure. I asked if i could just get my money back and find another place to stay. Was told because I did not book though them no. The whole hotel smelled as if they were actively doing drugs in the room. I couldn’t even go into one of the rooms without choking my room had to be changed three times when I requested for a refund that’s when she finally gave me a room on the first floor that was the very first room next to the front office extremely very, very very dissatisfied. The room smell very nasty. I could barely sleep 9 AM They’re knocking on your door for checkout when checkout isn’t until 11 AM.
