Wingate by Wyndham Valdosta/Moody AFB

This hotel was very nice, very pretty and it had a great location. The rooms could use it going over. They were clean but because they need detailed they look kind of grungy . The tile in our bathroom was broke and one of them didn't have any grout around it and it just made it look kind of gross. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very nice. My only complaint is we booked a room with the balcony overlooking the courtyard and instead we got a room overlooking the parking lot with no balcony for the same price. We wanted the balcony for the dog so that wasn't great. That being said, they have a great dog park and it was nice and clean and the pet fee was only $20 although we were told that it was only going to be 10. Still not too bad since some motels have ridiculous gall to charge

Very nice hotel just off I75. Breakfast was really good, and the ladies taking care of it were just lovely; friendly, happy, courteous and professional, and all the items were well stocked and good quality. You could hear a little hum from the main road noise, but it wasn’t a problem. The check in/out ladies were lovely too. We would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located near Exit 18 off I-75. Easily booked online when I was an hour away. Loved the online check-in and check-out. We got a discounted room rate, which was quite reasonable, and a ground floor room (which I will be requesting henceforth). The room was a standard size, clean and comfortable, with microwave, mini fridge, and DirecTV - which made the hubby happy. I liked that the bathroom light did not shine directly into the bedroom. Breakfast was pretty good, as hotel breakfasts go: waffle irons, biscuits, grits, sausage gravy, pork and turkey sausages, scrambled eggs, plus the usual array of muffins, bread, dry cereal, fruit, etc.

The hotel is dated but was okay. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were scratchy. The shower had a drainage problem. Breakfast was very basic and our experience was poor due to a bus load of people right before us that wiped everything out. We arrived late and checked out early. Just needed a few hours to sleep. Not a horrible experience just meh. Quiet overall.
