La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Valdosta

Positive: Staff was nice. Service was quick and friendly. Negative: On one side you can hear semis driving all night. The second night my room was adjacent to the elevator shaft. So could hear the elevator most of the night and people getting on and off.

Great front desk staff, ease of booking, easy check in. VERY clean rooms, wonderful hot shower and comfortable beds (my only constructive criticism is they need firmer pillows) but I always bring one just in case- still give a 10/10. Oh and PLUS FREE delicious breakfast! Beautiful hotel right off 75. Wawa right by it and about a mile down the road a really good BBQ restaurant with a nice salad bar called Smokin Pig BBQ! We will make this a staple stay when traveling through Georgia! Thank you LaQuinta Wyndham resorts!

Eehhhh..... Second time visiting here in past few months. First was great. Friendly, clean and served it's purpose. Right off I75, restful night and good price. This time wasn't as pleased. Girl on duty for evening, while she wasn't rude, just flat and I could tell shed rather be anywhere but here. Rooms were clean enough but seemed a bit less than last visit. Now, the real reason I'm giving it 3/5......the pillows! Holy moly, I don't know if I was just in a deep stupor last visit from driving forever and didn't notice or if they've gone that far in cutting costs. The pillows are literally 1/3 the size of an a standard pillow. I'm at a loss for words. Why???? Uncomfortable to say the least. And ridiculously cheap. I think this will be my last visit. This hotel was a pleasant surprise after 12 hours on the road. The hotel is decorated for Christmas; the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Fresh lemon water is waiting by the desk; very refreshing. The rooms are clean, the furnishings are in good condition. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The eggs are palatable, the selection is good, and the coffee’s not bad. All in all this is one of the best La Quinta’s we have experienced. I would highly recommend this hotel without reservations.

Pros: Interior and exterior are modern and nice. Service was very nice. Kamerin was very professional and quite courteous. Breakfast was good. Just wish it would last until at least 10 or 1030. Not everyone is an early riser. Cons: opened drawer to put away my belongings only to find someones clothing. That told me that maids rushed through. Checked my sheets after finding grass and hair. Advised front desk who offered another room. I just wanted clean sheets and she graciously helped me change them. Then at 2am I tried turning off at Thermostat because our heating unit/fan sounded like a chainsaw running in our room. Thermostat would not turn off fan or unit. Nightshift gentleman was quick to put us in another room as he heard it over the phone. Needless to say, not the restful night slee
