Super 8 by Wyndham Portland Airport

We find their shuttle service reliable under normal circumstances. Rooms are decent and generally clean. Some maintenance issues but common at this price point. For a quick one night stay it is perfect. The option to stay park and fly is so convenient and priced right.

This motel has interior room doors which is a nice safety feature however, our door was missing a safety latch. Although they have updated the floors (vinyl plank) , curtains and pictures, they did not update the furniture or the bathroom. The furniture was very worn , and mismatched. ||Housekeeping would have been better. Our room was cleanish. All the lights in the bathroom were burnt out but the front desk came quickly and replaced the bulbs. The sink has no plug and it is very worn out. The grout around the tub needs to be replaced. ||The room also has a phone available. ||I was surprised that the free breakfast actually had fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs. It also had plenty of carb options. Staff was cleaning the tables. ||WiFi was pretty good and my Verizon phone reception was oka

I rented 2 rooms in December, of 2025 love that fact that is close to the airport make it so easy and convenient. One of the rooms the water of the shower wasn't working no running water I spoke to the front dest they gave me no solution not even a new room with running water or part of my money back, I had to get my children shower in my room. So disappointed about super 8 I have rented rooms in the past here before so I was not expecting to be treating with that kind of service. Also it would be so nice if they change breakfast hrs breakfast hrs are 5:00am-9:00am when you travel with children and you have late flights your not up so early they should do 5:00am-10:00am so at least your kids could eat something before getting back on the road.

Check in time is relatively early compared to other motels in the area which is 2pm. They actually do offer breakfast for all the guests including freshly baked pancakes with pancake machine onsite. Facilities are old, A/C smells really bad and moldy we had to turn it off.

My mom and her friends booked this hotel for July 4 weekend for three nights stay through booking.com . As soon as we walked into the room the odor is unbearable , so we walk to front desk and told them we don't like the smell and my mom is is prone to get ill and has disability. Front desk did nothing about it and saying to talk to manager in the morning. So we have to move out and look for another hotel in other city to stay . Went back in the morning and the manager saying we book through third party and she can't do anything about refund. They simply play ping-pong game not to refund you that is all.
