Super 8 by Wyndham Lynchburg VA

If one word could describe this Super 8 it would be "dirty"! The ceramic floors in the foyers were cracked the floors & hallways were dirty even elevator floor was filthy. The whole place smell bad. Even the tables in the breakfast area were never wiped. The Continental Breakfast consisted of waffles, stale cereal and old looking bread. I gave it a one star because the coffee was good. Always like Super 8 with this put a whole new memory in my mind. The Super 8 that I've stayed in the past have been very well kept and clean this one's certainly has dropped to standard. The towels were cheap and thin, only two in the room. The pillows were nice but no blanket. The whole stay made my wife and feel very uncomfortable.

4MAR.2026 First time here. The property could be cleaner. The rooms smelled of either pets or a sweaty gym. Febreeze couldn’t even take care of that smell. It is a dank feeling. You can’t use the upper part of the door lock, so much for security. The remote has no back on it. The tv is some generic brand and is missing a leg on the bottom; so it is laying up against the wall. The exercise room has only 4 treadmills that are out of date. The tile in the hallway is chipping. The price is about right for what they offer their customers. It is directly beside Liberty University. And a nice choice of restaurants and fast food spots. Glad we’re here for a night. There could be more improvements.

The best thing about this is the location. Other than that, this would never be a recommendation. First, we had two keys and only one worked to get in. I went to get the other programmed and she gave me an extra. Now, I had 3 keys and still only one worked. The hotel smelled of Indian food. We were put on the third floor even though the elevator was broken. The hall carpet was filthy and never vacuumed during our two day stay. The same mud/grass was there for both days. The bathroom door was falling apart and held together with red duct tape. The insulation of the door was leaking out the bottom onto the bathroom floor. Because the door was broken, you couldn't close it completely or lock it. The sink lacked a drain stopper. The toilet had a worn wooden seat that you could see the wood thr

I can’t believe Wyndham would be associated with this hole of a hotel. The smell, the stains on the carpets in the halls, the trash in the stairwell all before we even got in our roach infested room. Unfortunately all the other area hotels were booked and we had an event to attend so we had no choice but to stay. The beds are mattresses on boards no boxspring so not very comfortable and we were given 2 pillows and 2 small throw pillows and one towel for 5 registered guests. Received attitude when I asked for more as if they couldn’t be bothered as they scrolled on their phones lounging and barefooted. Bathroom door wouldn’t close and had what looking like axe marks in it. Another roach I had to kill and a used bar of soap! Low lighting and no working fan with mold on ceiling. TV only worke
