Super 8 by Wyndham Irving DFW Airport/South

Location is easy to access and close to DFW airport. However, the A/C was NOT cold. It blew just air. I called front desk and she sent someone up. He said he fixed it. Wrong. I went downstairs to tell her, he came back, and same thing. I asked to switch rooms only to be told I'd been in the room over 15 minutes so I'd need to pay for a different room!! I ended up sitting in the window for almost 3 hours until it cooled off enough to lay down. Wyndham needs to check on the hotels that carry their name/brand.

Close to airport and freeways. Older man who checked us in was nice. No one else interacted with us. Rooms and hotel need updating. Outdated furniture, mold in shower, trash on floor and I killed a silver fish in room. The curtains don't have the sun/light blocking on them anymore so you get the parking lot light in room all night. Ac/heater worked great. Bed and pilows were bad though. Thankfully we were got most of day and we're only there to sleep 8 hours, shower and go back out

This isn't fancy, the halls smell like smoke, and weed, as well as dusty old carpets in the halls, but the room was not bad once inside.. Some things worked, others did not as expected. Staff was very friendly.

I was profiled at the hotel and harassed by the front desk, lady, I can’t make this shit up! After a hard night work, I came back to the hotel said good night to the lady at the front desk but I didn’t get a response, I didn’t think anything of it and went about my business. Went and warm up my meal in the microwave in the breakfast room. The front desk lady yelled out to me, sir are you guest staying here, so I answered yes….i finish warming up my food and about to catch the elevator waiting for it to come down, she held out to me again, what room are staying in? So I said i am not gonna tell you that! She replied…you have to tell me what room you are in? It’s my responsibility to know who’s coming in and out so I said that’s not my problem and I went in the elevator came to my room do
