Super 8 by Wyndham Hartford

Service was not rendered after website did not confirm age restrictions, so I went in asking for a refund they told me the manager will be there 9am, I went home.. came back the next day.. they continued to say the manger still wasn’t there and I had to wait till the end of the week. Which I was not waiting for I didn’t get the key to the room I didn’t even get to go to the room.. he argued with me about how it’s not his problem and I needed to call the manager. I called and called and called no answer. I ended up having to go to bank and reporting it as fraud.. which took weeks to get the money back. Not recommended.. attitude from the guy at the front desk the whole time. And no help. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

I recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham Hartford and had a surprisingly pleasant experience. The hotel offers great value for the price, and I appreciated the comfort and convenience it provided during my stay. The room was clean, well-prepared, and equipped with everything I needed for a short visit. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the overall setup made it easy to relax after a long day. I also liked that the room included essentials such as a mini-fridge, microwave, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff deserves special mention — everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with any questions I had. Their positive attitude made the stay feel more personal and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, which I really appreciated.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The keys were not working; they let someone into my room without asking for ID. No fire detector in the room; it was just gone. Holes in the walls stuffed with tissue. The headboard on the bed was falling off the wall, and the 2nd night it actually fell off. The lights on the wall by the bed were over the bed, so you kept hitting your head. No toilet paper. Hair in the shower. No ice buckets, they gave you the flimsy plastic bag insert to put ice in. The room smelled. Pictures on the website must be from another hotel. There wasn't one picture that looked like them. Looked like a lot of suspicious activity was going on all night in the parking lot.

I'm actually appalled at what just happened at this place!! 😡😡 It is currently 12:12am, very early Monday morning. About 25min ago while my husband and I were asleep, 2 people entered our room with a key they were obviously just given!!! Whatever, we didn't even call downstairs to complain, we just rolled over and went back to sleep. A few minutes later, there's a knock at our door!!! The manager, or whoever the guy is VERY RUDELY asked us if we had extended our stay!!! OBVIOUSLY WE PAID TO BE HERE!!! HELLO??!!! This was our second night. This morning we extended our stay online & called the front desk to confirm, we were told we were all set. TO COME BANG ON OUR DOOR AFTER MIDNIGHT, ACCUSING US OF NOT PAYING, DEMANDING TO SEE OUR BOOKING INFO ON OUR PHONE IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! Som
