DoubleTree by Hilton Hartford Downtown

My partner and I stayed here for a valentine's day weekend in hartford. It was perfect and exactly what we envisioned! The parking directions were clear and easy, good discounted parking through the hotel. The location was spot on. Right in downtown while also feeling very secure. We could walk to nice restaurants and bars for our dates. The deli across the street is absolutely delicious. The hotel staff were all accommodating and sweet. Our 2 dogs (shiba inus) were comfortable and had no issues. The whole hotel was very clean. The room was not large but totally fair for a city and what we booked. We didnt have a chance to try the hotel restaurant but will surely be back and try it!

The room was what you want from a Doubletree, clean, comfortable bed, etc., the shower was okay, a tad tricky, had to ensure the shower head was turned away as you kind of had to get in to turn it on, then hope it wasn't freezing. ||The restaurant on-site, "The Herb & Kitchen," oh my, where to begin. Getting a credit, we stopped for drinks. We asked for a drinks menu. The older woman on duty, who immediately stated she had thirty years of experience, seemed confused. So she replied, "We don't have everything. We haven't gotten everything due to tariffs." So after some back and forth, I looked at the bar, ordered a Glenmorangie and Basil Hayden, both neat. Her response, "what is that". I then had to show her where they were; she said she had never heard of them. When she brought the drink

We are so glad we booked and stayed here for a concert recently. The location is absolutely perfect actually attached to the Civic Center. The lobby was beautiful. Everything was clean. Every staff member we met and dealt with was professional and nice and happy everybody was smiling. This place was great. I highly recommend it not to mention they give you fresh baked warm cookies.!!🍪

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Downtown hotel in Hartford, CT, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The property is clearly in need of an immediate renovation. The guest rooms feel very outdated, and the beds were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. The shower had very poor water pressure, and there was also a noticeable gap between the entry door and the wall, allowing hallway noise to come directly into the room whenever other guests walked by. Another issue was the elevators. Out of the two elevators in the building, only one was operating during my stay, which caused delays. I mentioned this to the front desk twice, but there was little concern or effort to address the situation. Overall, the condition of the hotel and the lack
