Residence Inn by Marriott Hartford Downtown

I enjoyed the unique, loft style rooms and the spaciousness. Great kitchen appliances including a full oven. Like some of the other reviews stated, some of the furniture is outdated but it didn't impact my stay. Bathroom door didn't fully fit the frame but again, it didn't impact my stay. Staff were friendly and room was clean

Stayed recently for a girls trip. The suit was the perfect layout. The staff was very accommodating. Special thanks to Emily at the front desk, she went above & beyond for us. She has top notch customer service skills. Helped us with where to eat & what to do in the Hartford area. Also; the lovely lady who worked in the breakfast area (I wish I had her name) she was wonderful. Even getting my sister a fresh bowl of honeydew from the kitchen. Great stay, fun stay.

Recruiting trip to Trinity College. I was here for a visit to Trinity for our son. We stayed 2 nights here. My first impressions were of the parking in the park secluded and convenant did have to pay to park. Check inn was easy and simple the staff was very nice and recommended a few places to eat with in walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was a one time a apartment building. That would explain the large rooms very very nice. Our rooms was the suit shown in the advertisment of the hotel. We had seperate living room and kitchen with the bedroom up the stairs next to the bedroom. Hot coffee and breakfast in the morning was good. Also the laundry is on the 4th floor our floor. Trinity was 12 minutes from us quick easy drive there and West Hartford was only 20 minutes away.

We were at a wedding right accross the street at the Society Room. Couldn’t be more convenirnt! The Wadswotrh Atheneum is a few steps away, the Buschnell Park too. Room: living room + bedroom+ kitchen : spotless clean, many thznks to the cleaning team. Bathroom: great water pressure, shampoo, bodywash, hairdryer: convenient! Complementary breakfast: ok. Front desk & Breakfast Team: the NICEST & WELCOMING people. Whoever we spoke to was an excellent Marriott’s Ambassador. Hope they all get a raise for being do kindly professionnal. The only weird thing was the chosen colours of the corridors & rooms: it wasn’t old but had an air of the early 80’s , haha! There s a convenient parking lot for guests too. Above all, the quality of the employees.

Good hotel in the heart of downtown. Staff at reception were helpful and the rooms very spacious. Breakfast was adequate too. Close to all amenities, so overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you.
