Super 8 by Wyndham Hagerstown/Halfway Area

Great hotel for the price. We got the King suite with hot tub and the price was fitting. Its was spacious and very comfortable. The location can be tricky due to several truck stops near by and high traffic. The front desk was nice and quick. The hallway smelled like Marijuana, but that's how all of Maryland smells now. The breakfast was adequate. There is a McDonald's near by if you need more.

The place is rough and stinks. They need new carpets, etc...||Location is great. Front desk clerk was nice. The price was great. It ended there. The first room smelled so bad, you couldn't have paid me to stay there. The second one was better, but not great.

Positive: It is a bed just off the highway Negative: Staff wouldn’t stop the noise from people above me all night. Julie at desk started at 6 am. She screamed at me (as if one of us was a toddler) when I said I was going upstairs to ask them to keep it down. Then she threatened to call the police.

This hotel was absolutely horrendous. The staff were incredibly rude and dismissive, treating guests like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Management was equally unreasonable and refused to address even basic complaints. The room was filthy—roaches crawling around, dirt and grime everywhere, and clearly no effort had been made to maintain cleanliness. I have never encountered such appalling service or such a disgusting environment at a hotel. If you care about hygiene, respect, or just a normal human experience, stay far away from this place. It’s unprofessional, unsafe, and completely unacceptable. I regret every minute of my stay. That manager isn’t doing her job .I don’t even think she knows what she’s doing

Right off the highway, easy on-easy off. Accessibility was just what I needed. Front desk / manager Julie Hines was warm and extremely helpful. Friendly and accommodating. I will absolutely return here on my way back home.
