Inn On Potomac

Gorgeous enormous room and easy walk to multiple restaurants. Dog friendly and parking right at the door. Becky & Rich are lovely hosts.

My boyfriend & I had tickets to see the Maryland Symphony perform Beethoven’s 9th at the Maryland Theatre. We were coming from Philly so we needed a place to stay the night. There are plenty of hotels, but we wanted to stay “in town” so we could walk to the show. We found Inn on Potomac on Yelp. Everything about this place is perfect. Location: right in town and walkable to the Theatre and multiple restaurants. The room is a full apartment with full kitchen, sitting room, and separate bedroom. It is beautifully decorated with both old and new pieces. There is a front and back patio perfect for sitting with snacks and a bottle of wine. The room came with a complimentary bottle of wine (!) and snacks like cookies, chips, ramen noodles, and a selection of coffees & teas. The best and nicest p

6 out of 5 stars, this place was the best place I've stayed in a long time. The couple who run it are warm and welcoming, the rooms are really well-appointed and beautiful. They were so excited to meet our dog and had bowls out and ready for her, as well as recommendations on where to walk her.

We stumbled upon this lovely inn when we were traveling to Hagerstown for one night . . . destination: Flying Boxcars minor league baseball game. The hosts were very welcoming. The apartment was perfect in every way. The special touches reflected the kindness of the hosts. Location to "OldTown" Hagerstown restaurants and theaters was convenient and safe. This is a great place to stay if attending a ballgame as we were able to leave our car in their private parking lot while we walked four blocks to the game. We highly recommend Inn on Potomac!
