Super 8 by Wyndham Gananoque/Country Squire Resort

We arrived on Valentine's day at around 2pm. I had paid the extra to get early check in. Gentleman was very courteous. One thing I noticed, was the snow shovelling was sub par. They barely made a strip wide enough for a person to walk through. Upon leaving the front desk, we had to go down an enclosed hallway to get to our room. There was a definite 'smell' which was like a pool room odor, although their inside pool was under renovations and has been for quite a while. The room itself was nice. The smell in the hallway did not penetrate the room. We had the queen bed, with jacuzzi tub. The floors in the room had wide spaces in between the planks! Obviously poorly workmanship! I found everything clean(floors, bathroom, jacuzzi tub), but the place definitely needed some upgrades! It was nice

With time and patience this property will be renovated into a budget family friendly location for sports team, seniors and family with young children to run around. The owners and staff care. ||||My suggestion is to stay on top of details, especially in the recently renovated rooms. Lifting wallpaper, properly chalked shower-tub and secured toilets to the floor. ||||We wish you all the best as the renovation continues.

What a magical stay! Stayed here for 1 night, right after a snowy night and the woke up to some beautiful views. Absolutely loved it here. Stayed here once last year and had a great time then also. However this year it is obvious that the owners have renovated this place. The rooms are clean, our room had 50 inch TV with lots of 4K channels, the kids had a blast playing Nintendo Switch in the main lobby. All in all, I enjoyed my stay this year. I’ll definitely be back again.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff@harsh trivedi was extremely polite, supportive, and always ready to help. The location is perfect, close to all major attractions, yet calm and relaxing. Overall, excellent service and great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The wife and I have been coming to gananoque since we have been together! Took her for a two day to get away to country squire motel We like the jetted tub for Two we took king executive suite again! Like the screened in sun room nice to unwind in after shopping The breakfast was good and person was making western omelettes very tasty We have stayed at a lot of hotels in gananoque But we tend to stay at the super 8 country squire hotel the most our preferred romantic get away
