Riviera Inn and Suites 1000 Islands

I wish hotels would stop advertising they have breakfast included. A muffin, toast and coffee is not breakfast. Breakfast included is always one of my must haves. The restaurant on site is closed but there are plenty of restaurants close by.the room is clean. The beds are old and squeaky. The size of the room is good. TV is cable only and not capable of streaming from phone. Dogs are allowed to stay for $25/daywhich is a bonus.

Clean and comfortable room. Newly renovated.Breakfast is basic.Worth price.

Rooms were super clean and stocked up. Nice to have chairs to sit on outside. Mini fridge and 2 tvs in King Suite. Staff is friendly. Close to stores and fast food restaurants, half hr from Kingston. Beautiful little town. Only criticism is that breakfast is listed until 9:30, but there was nothing left by 9am. Would visit here again!

I travel with work and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and motels. This was definitely one of the worst. There was food in the floor. The chair looked like someone just ate a puffy pastry on it. The carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time. It smelt like someone had just smoked a pack of cigarette in it. We complained and they said it is clean and that it was normal. We asked for a refund and they gave us the “no one here can approve that, can’t reach the person who can approve it, we will call you” run around. Never got a phone call or a refund. It was worth loosing the $200 to not have to stay there. There are much better hotels in town that are much cheaper!

Staff are super accommodating! Were really great with the hockey team. They went above and beyond with us. They told us we could stay for a late checkout at no cost and even offered us to come back if we had a large gap for the boys to use the pool. Breakfast could have been a bit better and the rooms were adequate. Location is great it’s within walking distance to a lot of amenities. Thank you for a great experience.
