Super 8 by Wyndham Evansville East

For the price, the hotel is nice. Rooms are clean, TV had plenty of channels and shower had hot water. Breakfast was decent, with biscuits and gravy, waffles, muffins, and other small items. So again, for the price, 5 stars. It is next to the movie theater unfortunately there is some road work on the road so it can be hard to get to the hotel. Didn't interact with the staff much, so the rating deals with the cost and niceness of the room. Would stay again.

Room was clean, no bugs or anything. Shower did not work, tub ran, shower head did not run water. Outlet near bed did not work, phone in room did not work, smoke detector literally fell out of the ceiling. Heater makes loud knocking noise. Exhaust fan in bathroom was super loud and squeaky. Felt like final destination. Only reason its not 1 star is because staff is nice and room was spotless clean.

The prices at the venue were much higher than online, and the staff forced customers to pay a 20 yen tip in advance. The air conditioning was very noisy, perhaps due to its age, and the breakfast was monotonous. I hope these improvements can be made. Wishing you all the best!

Positive: Not much to like Negative: Old, run down, electrical outlets didn’t work, lighting was terrible, bedding was threadbare, thankfully it was economical

The room was nice, quiet, and clean. Check in was quick and easy. Kind of a modern look with laminate flooring. Bed was comfortable, but a little creaky. Toilet ran unless you jiggle the handle. Windows could use sheers to let in light while giving privacy. We had a first floor room and had to keep the heavy curtains closed because there were cars parked right at the window.
