Holiday Inn Express & Suites Evansville Downtown, an IHG Hotel

I have stayed at this hotel several times! I was greeted by a man named Carl and he was so informative and helpful made the check in process so easy and smooth. Very professional. I had a great pleasure of meeting one of the cooks Richard. He was very polite and managed to make my morning brighter. Great staff an stay all around. Will be back!

We recently stayed here for a trip to the Ford Center and absolutely loved it! The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and in a perfect location—just a short walk to the venue. The continental breakfast was hands down the best I’ve ever had—great variety, fresh, and well stocked. The only downsides were that there’s no pool or hot tub, and the price is a bit higher than some other options in the area. Still, the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience made it well worth it. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Ford Center!

DO NOT STAY HERE! LONG READ BUT ALL FACTS.||Hi All, Diamond level frequent traveler with IHG. The room was average, city view is looking at the side of a brick building on level 4. Room cleanliness was mediocre, shower and shower curtain had filthy hand prints on and no Kleenex in the room. Those items I could get over.||On the night of November 18 2025 I had just showered and laying on the bed around 7pm and all of a sudden someone walks in, they had checked them into my room. I yelled at them to get out(sorry to whoever that was). I had a long day so I got up locked the door and went to bed thinking I will talk to the front desk in the morning. Around 1:45 am on November 19 I woke up in absolute panic to my door slamming against the door stop. I yelled to get the F@$k out of m

During our stay we had a rain storm and Snow fall; The Roof seemed to be leaking. The staff was extremely helpful and kept us safe and aware. The woman that took care of Breakfast was amazingly kind and took great care of us. Everything was clean and the food was fresh and delicious!

The rooms are obviously not cleaned to what they should be, bathroom floor dirty full of hair, however the worst part was lifting the metal catcher in the shower and just filth being caked on it. Stains on the ground in hallway for over a month. Typical deep wash or things that should get cleaned in a room or hallway don't. The vacuums/mops/brooms are always broken because no one takes care of them. Most the employees are very unfriendly. The employees basically run the place and call the owner when something doesn't go their way. Upper management and ownership very crooked. They have you move your and your child's life across state 5 hours away, promise things, and then toss you out for no good reason.
