Super 8 by Wyndham Elizabethtown

Positive: Motel is smelled good you can tell it was clean good and regularly. The receptionist was absolutely amazing went above and beyond. He is the older second shift receptionist. Negative: The receptionist on 3rd shift the night shift. It was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional and that's so that I usually never file a complaint but I did with the hotel

I stayed there on the way back from spreading my mom's ashes. I accidently left the necklace she left for me there. I called several times inquiring about the necklace and never received a call back and was hung up on after they said they would check the lost and found. I know that it was left on the sink with a pair of earrings. They said that they reached out to my significant other who the reservation was under and let him know they didnt find anything, but he also never received a call. The staff was very rude, unaccomidating and inattentive. We stayed with another Wyndham hotel on our trip and had a bad experience with them as well. Definitely would recommend a different hotel company for your stay

I was a little nervous at first after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room. This is the most affordable hotel in Elizabethtown, but it is not dirty and the staff is friendly. The bathrooms have been redone and are far nicer than most I have seen in other comparable hotels. The flooring is hard, laminate, and wood-looking. There is no carpet except in the hallway. They have fresh coffee even outside of breakfast hours. I think the owners are doing the best they can to turn this place around and it shows. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in E-town on a budget!

Booked Super 8 in Elizabethtown, KY online, unfortunately wasn’t a real Super 8 site - some priceline affiliate, apparently. Got here, room didn’t work for us (not enough beds). Motel staff wouldn’t let us change rooms, said it had to be done online. Online site said Super 8 staff had to do it. Motel staff made 0 effort to help, didnt offer us even a partial solution (as in, a nearly-empty motel, definitely had rooms available, could’ve switched us for a reasonable fee, but wouldn’t ). Extremely unhappy with staff.

This hotel is very dated and needs a lot of maintenance and updates. The bathroom was not bad but the rest of the room needs updates/repairs. Also, I did not feel personally that safe. I think that the Motel 6 is a better choice (which is on the other side of the highway)
